SCYTHIAN ANNOUNCES THE LINEUP FOR THE STRING BREAK CRUISE! 🚢🎻Tickets are officially on sale for Scythian’s String Break Cruise 3, and this year’s lineup is stacked with some of the BEST bands in bluegrass, Americana, Celtic, and roots music.
Steep Canyon Rangers lead the charge with their Grammy-winning songwriting and unmistakable sound, joined by Americana favorites Carbon Leaf, returning for their second year aboard the ship. Fan favorites Tophouse are back for an incredible third year, continuing to bring their infectious energy and genre-blurring style to the cruise.
Also on board are powerhouse roots bands The Steel Wheels and House of Hamill, along with Irish bluegrass sensations JigJam (back for their second year) and Celtic legends The Elders (also returning for year two). Rounding out the lineup are crowd-pleasing Irish trad masters Socks in the Frying Pan, returning for their third unforgettable year. Also returning as an OFFICAL Special Guest is THE Dancing Fiddler Hillary Klug!

SHOW 3: This will be Scythian's final show on Irish sod for the trip and we will leave it all on the stage. We encourage you to come early and grab your dinner at Billy Byrne's which is well reviewed and then mozy into the venu for an 8pm show. This will give you time to explore the Kilkenny nightlife after the show which is sure to be hopping!
By SHOW 2 we'll have this touring Ireland thing down pat and you all will be ready to throw down! Scythian will fire things up at 830pm but the night will go one with a futuristic disco in the back. This will be a night of tomfoolery which only existed in the days before YouTube!
This will be our first show of the tour and will give our fans a sense of what it was like for Scythian in the early days when they were running the East Coast as a Pub Band. Many said the show at McCarthy's last year was their favorite, so be sure to grab dinner, come early for a pint to stake your spot. It will be COZY and ROWDY!
